ICEFIXPRO INC.

Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 3, 2026 • Last updated: October 3, 2026
IceFixPro Inc. ("IceFixPro," "we," "us," or "our") provides appliance repair, installation, and maintenance in Greater Boston. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information collected through icefixpro.com, our booking and contact forms, and communications about our services.

1. Information we collect

When you request service or contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address if provided, service address, service type, appliance details, preferred appointment date and time, and description of your request. We may also retain communications and records of the service provided.

Our website and its service providers may collect technical information, including IP addresses, browser and device information, pages visited, referring pages, interactions, and the date and time of visits or form submissions. Google Analytics helps us understand website use.

Please do not enter Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, payment card details, passwords, medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive information in our forms.

2. How we use information

We use service-request information to respond to inquiries, arrange appointments, provide estimates and appliance services, manage customer records, address warranty or service issues, and maintain records required for our business or by law. We use technical and analytics information to understand website performance, improve the website, and help prevent abuse.

We do not use your contact information for promotional email campaigns or marketing text messages. Submitting a service request does not enroll you in a marketing list. Communications about your inquiry or service are separate from advertising.

3. When we disclose information

We do not sell customer personal information or provide customer contact lists to third parties for their own marketing.

We disclose information as needed to service providers that support our website, booking forms, customer records, email, and analytics. Our website uses Tilda; submitted booking information is sent to Tilda CRM and our business email. Google receives information through Google Analytics. These providers process information under their applicable terms and privacy practices.

Relevant service details may be shared with the personnel performing or coordinating your requested work. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or legal process, or as reasonably necessary to protect safety, prevent fraud, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

4. Cookies and Google Analytics

Cookies are small files stored by your browser. Our website and its providers may use cookies or similar technologies for site operation and analytics. Google Analytics collects information about visits and interactions, which may include device and browser details, cookie identifiers, referral information, and approximate location. We use these reports to improve our website.

Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services and read Google's Privacy Policy.

You can manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. You may also use Google's Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on on supported browsers. Browser controls can affect website features and do not necessarily block every type of analytics collection.

5. Retention and deletion

We do not currently apply a single fixed retention period to all customer records. Records may be retained for service history, warranty support, business recordkeeping, and applicable legal requirements. Retention also depends on the type of record and the systems in which it is stored.

You may request deletion at any time by emailing info@icefixpro.com. We will review your request, verify your identity when reasonably necessary, and delete information within our control that does not need to be retained. We may retain limited records where required by law or reasonably necessary for tax and accounting obligations, existing service commitments, fraud prevention, or legal claims. If an exception applies, we will explain it. Copies in backups may remain until removed through the provider's normal backup lifecycle.

6. Your privacy requests

You may contact us to ask about information we hold about you, request a copy, correct inaccurate information, or request deletion. Please include enough information for us to locate your records, such as the name and contact details used for your service request. Do not send sensitive identification documents unless we explain why they are necessary and provide an appropriate method.

We will respond to requests as required by applicable law. An authorized representative may contact us on your behalf; we may request reasonable proof of authorization. These request options are offered as our customer policy and do not limit any rights you have under applicable law.

7. Security and Massachusetts requirements

We take reasonable steps to protect information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. No website, email system, or storage service can guarantee absolute security.

Where applicable, our handling of personal information is subject to Massachusetts requirements governing data security, disposal of records, and security-breach notification, including M.G.L. chapters 93H and 93I and 201 CMR 17.00. If an incident requires notification under applicable law, we will provide the required notices. This policy does not waive or restrict those obligations.

8. Children and third-party websites

Our website is intended for people requesting appliance services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and remove it where appropriate.

Links to Google, social networks, and other external websites lead to services with their own privacy practices. This policy covers IceFixPro's practices, not those independent websites. Providers may process information in the United States or other countries where they operate.

9. Policy updates

We may update this policy when our practices or applicable requirements change. The current version will appear on this page with an updated date. Where required, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent before a material change. We will not use this policy to override rights or choices required by law.
